Im looking for a pair of rear stub axles for a 5 lug conversion from a pre 1973 911. Doing a high hp conversion and want the best option for a rear 5 lug conversion. Please let me know if you have anything.
Thanks

You mentioned high horsepower, pre 73 is not your best option.

Why? They use the bigger CV's that are better for more HP.
Do you know of any better option?

eurotrash,
How much HP do you plan to run?

PLEASE go to the Classic Section and READ all about axles.

@bdstone914 I have a subaru eg33 swap and 5mt ready to put into my 914 that i eventually plan to run a low boost turbo setup on. Im hoping for somewhere around 400hp when all said and done.
Im looking to get the axle part figured out now and only once so i wont run into cv joint breaking problems later down the road.
Im was planning on doing 911 rear hubs/ stub axles, 100mm outer cv joints to 100mm axles that i would have re splined on the transmission side to accommodate the subaru transmission output flange parts.

Ive been referencing these two posts for a while now, amongst other posts as well. If there is a better solution that you guys know of im all ears but it seems like these posts point to the pre 74 911 hub/stub for high horsepower applications. But please let me know any other options.

There are only two choices for the 100 mm cv's. 911SC or modified 944/Turbo stub axle with spacer.

If you are looking for pre 73 stub axles I have several sets. They are 108 mm and are four bolt two roll pins. Just like the 914-6. I don't have the matching 108 mm transmission side output shafts just the 108 mm stub axles and 5 lug rear wheel hubs.

If interested PM me with your email address for details.

The biggest CV you can fit in a stock trailing arm is the early 911 108mm CV/Stub axles. I’m also running this with sway away 930 axles and 108mm cv’s on a 86 915 trans.
