I was interested to see if the seats in my car were factory, so I sent away for the official Porsche Production Specification report. Surprised and confused.
   2.0!?!? What? When I purchased the car it was badged with a 1.8 and had a 1.8 with fully operational Ljet EFI. Nothing leads me to believe it was anything but a factory 1.8. What's the likelihood that the factory spec sheet is wrong? Oh, yeah... kind of cool that the tartan seats are original. |

very interesting, whats the tyre sticker on the fuel tank say? S or H? now what other things would give it away? i'd have to think? not actually much to distinguish traces of a 1.8 versus 2.0 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) air cleaner mount? and the dual relay mounts under the battery tray? and what else. i'd have to think. |
