I am sharing the wiring diagram I drew to run our 914-6 engine on a test stand. Perhaps this is straight-forward to others, but I had a tough time with it. Ended up ruining a new ignition coil due to an error related to wiring the CDI. Mainly that I tried to go directly from the ignition to the coil, instead of through the CDI. That was an expensive mistake. Perhaps this will save someone else some grief.

This is as stock as possible. CDI system discussion here.. Using a Zalex control box, Restoration Design engine harness and a couple home-made connectors. I ignored the alternator, tach, and oil temp for the test stand.
