I am getting ready to pull my windshield so I can replace my dash top and padding .

Where is the best place to buy new clips for the metal trim ?

I figured while it's out I might as well replace the windshield with one I can see out of .

Hi Ron,
I just want to point out that you will not Regret putting in a new windshield frame with your new windshield. As long as you're doing the windshield you might as well go fresh, but it is easy for me to spend your money.

Ron,
I just went through this with the LE. Unfortunately, the 914rubber ones are too brittle. Buy the OE Porsche clips. They're like $4-5 per clip so be ready for that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) They are not cheap but neither is the chrome that they are tasked with holding down. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Pelican sells them.

I ended up buying OEM from a dealer. All others would not work.

I very recently ordered a full set from 914Rubber and some "extras" from RMeuropean. I found the RM ones to work quite well.

Hi Bob ,
Mine looks pretty good but yours looks a whole lot better . Is there a source for the metal trim around the windshield? Its always easier to spend someone else's money and more fun .

I believe it’s 19. The 914rubber ones are too brittle and result in a failed install when they crack.
