Lots of people have. Generally they either cut off damaged ones to replace with good fenders, or they cut out specific parts of the fenders when they add flared fenders on.
What's your aim, here? --DD |

The surgical approach is to drill out all the spot welds in the top channel, the front flanges (top and side) under the bumper, and inside the fender against the A-pillar. It is possible to remove the bumper in one piece.

You won’t make money removing fenders to sell. Way too much work and then shipping is expensive. If you need them for your car, that’s a different matter.

never remove unless all hope of saving the fender is exhausted. There are new fenders as well as patch panels available. Since the car is unibody the fender is hard to remove but removing the door and drilling out many spot welds is the way it comes off. If your 914 is damaged, critically to first pull it straight before removing the fender
