Rich - What is the recommended sealant for attaching the extension tube to the existing oil pick up tube.
Is there a curing time for the sealant before assembling the remaining tuna can components.

I used Permatex 29132 and let it sit overnight just to be sure.

.. there is no wrong answer (unless you are using KY lube or something equally ridiculous) the point of the sealant is to ensure any small discrepancy's between the stamped steel pickup tube & the machined steel extension dont leave any gaps. Ive found I often need to "dress" the PU tube with a fine file for fitment
