Hello all!
Wanted to ask for some opinions on the following. I am going to need to replace all of the rotors in my Porsche 914 1975 build since they are pretty rusted out. See below.  My question is... What is the best deal I could get moving forward? If i was trying to get the 5 lug wheels eventually on the car for some Fuchs (this was down the line) but since I have to get new rotors for the front and back, should I just get the PMB set that comes with new rotors? That will set me back about $1,200 total. Not sure if there is a better deal out there or if I should get new 4 lug rotors for a better deal? Any opinions on other brands I should consider or other better options out there? I figured these are too gone for any turning work. |

PMB 4 to 5 lug conversion is a great deal. I installed a set last 2013 on my 1975 1.8 Ljet.

If you have all of the supporting parts and a set of 5 lug wheels/tires swap over.
If not just get new rotors and pads (Porterfield or other 1st stage performance pads) and be done with it. I went in budget 5 lug with the Uro 5 lug 914 spline rear hubs and the PMB 5 lug 914 front rotors and the 914-6 rear rotors. The PMB calipers are the way to go if the calipers are screwed up, especially the rear ones. The front calipers can be rebuilt easily but the rears are far more complicated. |

Depends on what you need and when you need it like Ninja said.
The PMB 5 lug kit is a great package. If you can wait for a sale, then it becomes a fantastic deal. Good luck |
