One of my 914s is a 71 914-4 with a 3.0 6 in it. The 71 914-4 is a bit of a red herring that does not use 914-6 steering column or the 72 on configuration. Want to put a Momo on and was wondering if anyone had figured out s work around?

I do have a Momo installed, 1974 1.8, and I love it:

I believe that I cracked the code on putting an aftermarket steering wheel on a 71 914-4. The Momo 8002 that I have on my 73 will work but leaves a space and isn't really compatible with the turn signal mechanism. With the help of some old World posts I have ordered the Momo 0230 hub and found a NLA trim ring that should work with the hub and will allow me to keep the turn signal parts as they are. I've included pics if anyone is interested.
