Can someone tell me what the correct diameter and length is for the connecting hose coming out of the fresh air blower to the control box? I don't see 914-571-123-10 listed in Parts Vault. It is also NLA everywhere I look.
The hose on the other side of the control box is a different part number (914-572-123-10). When I go to popular parts suppliers, I see conflicting sizes of 80mm and 60mm diameter. Stoddard offers an original looking paper style 60mm x 445 for $40 each. Has anyone tried what appears to be a 911 hot air tube superseded part number 901-571-347-32? I've had mixed results using superseded part numbers. Thanks. P.S. Not to be confused with Engine Compartment Blower Hose. |

Oh, I was confused with the heater hose in the engine compartment. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
You're asking about the hose up in the front trunk? According to Gemini, The Porsche 914 front fresh air blower (blower motor) to mixing box connecting hose is approximately 60mm (about 2.36 inches) in diameter and generally measures around 38cm to 445mm in length. This hose is commonly found in a paper/aluminum foil construction. Diameter: 60mm (often referred to as 60mm-64mm in aftermarket, notes 914World.com. Length: Approximately 38cm (380mm) to 445mm. Part Number: 914-572-123-10 (Air Hose, Front Trunk to Air Direction Vents). Application: Connects the central blower motor in the front trunk to the heater/ventilation mixing box. Note: This is distinct from the 50mm or 60mm hot air hoses used in the engine compartment. |

Does your car have the dark tan or sand color? URO makes reproduction for both. Dark is getting hard to find. Rockauto has them, click to open.

I in my original post I confused the part number I need with what showed up in search results. Porsche lists a different part number for: Blower to control box 914-571-123-10 (what I need, #15 in drawing) Control box out 914-572-123-10 (#19 that you referenced). ![]() |

On our car, the ones near the blower are black, and the ones coming out of the control box are tan. I need to replace one of the black ones. ![]() It is odd to me that they have two different part numbers for inner and outer hoses. In most other instances, if things are the same material and diameter, they would distinguish the application by length. |

I just replaced those two hoses and the diameter was 2.5" I used Dorman 96004 which was good quality and fairly easy to work with. My old hoses were hard as a rock and I couldn't get them back in.
