Just a technical service bulletin for folks using 'Header Wrap...make sure that the mfg of this product will warranty the exhaust system from corrosion, disintegration of the steel* / as mfg's (including MSDS,inc.) do not cover the product loss.
*Also known as IGC, intergranular corrosion. With header wrap the issue is also increased by trapping moisture + heat soak with no exit path but being trapped. ![]() |

I never thought about that….I already wrapped mine because as you can see, even with making a custom bracket to get my clutch cable off of the headers, it’s still very close. Before I made the bracket the clutch cable was only able to go in between the two header pipes, at least now it’s off to one side. Still going to try and push it off to the side some more before my first fire up.
