FS: PMB Build of the 30th 914-6 built, Dec 1969
If you do not know this car look $175,000OBO

QR codes take you to a PMB vid and my funky build blog from 2007 till now. We call her #41
Modified 3.0 with 3.2 heads, Modern Fuel Injection full House Factory Vented Brakes, all the best suspension every piece of interior is custom leather (Every piece) and it comes with matching engine case in case someone wanted to build a 2.5 Short Stroke S Eng from that case. Current 3.0 engine has 800 miles on it. I am just too old and need a Cayman, Boxster or late year Spider in a bright color or white with Auto/AC/ and back up camera. Really do not want to go through the BAT experience. At 72 and with my health, this dream build that was stared in 2007 need to move to another caretaker.
Stock drivers seat upholstered in the same materials and office chair is included.

So tell a friend!

Best Bob B

Bob, I’m sorry you have to let her go. It has been fun watching this project sinking the World a few years back. GLWTS and good luck finding a more appropriate car for this phase of your life’s journey.

Worth every dollar too, Bob. She is a stunning example of the 914 coupled with the performance of a 911. And that leather interior........ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif)

Thanks guys, I have sent a email to Scott Kinder the builder of the 3.0 hot stepping six that is now in there to get a price to take my factory case (with matching numbers to car), to find out what he would charge to build a 2.5 SS hot engine with carbs or? Some one may want that set up over the 3.0 with 3.2 heads with FI in there now, and they could sell what is in there now with 800 miles and get the case that it was sold with when it came down the production line. For a guy that wants a dead stock 6, this is not the car.

OMG so sad to see you have to let her go. We enjoyed every step in the process... If I had the money then you could have brought her to LA docks for me.

Hope you find a good buyer who uses the car

GLWTS Bob

@burton73 Hope all is ok, Bob. Such a beautiful car, If I was younger I'd take the money out of my house. But I'm too old to have a mortgage again. Good luck on the sale, I'm sure you'll get what you want.

@burton73 - Bob, I am so sad to see you are selling your beautiful car. It is truly a beauty worth every dime of your asking price.

I totally understand the need for a new car with all of the creature comforts - I wish my 6 had AC. I hope it stays in the states so we can all enjoy seeing it from time to time. Best wishes on the sale and your health my brother. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Michael

Gorgeous car!

In the top 20 cars in the world IMO!

But if I was the buyer (and I'm not wealthy enough) I'd INSIST that you keep the office chair...

I am not going anyplace and will still be going on 914world runs with my oldest buddy Mark Sonners Blue 2270 that I helped him build. That was my car since 2009 and was earmarked to have a hot 350 with the 930 transmission. That transmission and set up suspension is now going into another world members car with even hotter V8 with dry sump.

Interesting thing that I just found out was Scott Kinder that built the current 3.0 took a trade in from me on the 67 S engine case that was in the car when I bought it.

------------------

Hey Bob

Great to hear from you.

I guess all is well that ends well…. Recently Doug Wright (to whom I sold your old 67S case from #41) connected the 67S owner to his original case too! I should have reached out and let you know. Glenn and Doug are also good friends. There are some excellent people in the 914 community (you very much among them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's a great story on the building of. #41 The finding of the lost engine cases.

Best Bob B

It was two years ago that Eric and my sweet wife Rhonda surprised me on my 70th birthday two years ago to the day. My thanks to all my 914 buds that showed up. I have not had a birthday surprise like that since my 21st birthday surprise party thrown by my first wife and best friends’ wife at the famous Luau restaurants on Rodeo Dr. that is long gone.
