My car came with that one. I'm not sure who made it but it is attractive and sadly, I tore it off loading on the trailer one day. Good luck tracking it down. I haven't seen it offered new. If you find one, I'd bet 914Rubber could reproduce it...

I think this one from Patrick is closer. I can rework the opening to approximate the one I'm looking for...

This is what I found on Renegade. Similar concept but not quite what tygaboy is showing. From PMS, even closer. Seems to be for flared car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) $385 plus shipping? That's insane! |

I have the QRS GT valance on a watercooled car, works great. Looks slightly different, the standard GT style, here, good quality and only 135 bucks.

Good looking valence, I think it used to be referred to as an upside down LE style. Haven't seen one in a long time.

That looks essentially the same as the Patrick one. I also noticed that I could access it on the QRS site if I used your link but going directly to the site, it's not listed as a product. I'll call them and see if it's still available. |

Back to the thread's original question, who does that version of the LE with cooler opening (post #1)? Custom or available? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)
Agreed PMS is expensive compared to what is available out there (A.I.R, Getty, others...) |

It appears that the item in my original post is NLA.
If anyone has one and is willing to loan it to me so I can pull a mold, I'll happily pay. Short of that, and unless something used comes up for sale, I'm just going to make my own. I'll need to get the front flares on the car first but in the end, I'll have a mold and would be able to make these for others who were interested. But don't hold your breath. |

@tygaboy did you ever end up making this front valance? I was searching for the exact same thing after looking at the one on PMS and google threw up this thread in the search results.

Looks like they cut the center of an LE and slid it down flush, then filled in the transitions.

Reviving this old thread @tygaboy .
A front valance like the one you originally posted 4 years ago is currently for sale on eBay but definitely not cheap... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) No mention as to who is the manufacturer though... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Here are the pictures from the eBay add for posterity and the link which will obviously become obsolete in the near future. https://www.ebay.com/itm/283622987864?hash=...rwAAOSwt~NdiRhI |

Man, that is a terrific looking valance for the flared front cooler cars. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)
